For people in the UK, Porto is basically the perfect long weekend location. 2 hour flight, 30 mins from airport to central. You can walk pretty much anywhere in Porto within 25 mins. The food is incredible and because it's all traditional and mostly family run places, it's cheap. Wine and beer is cheap. Weather is great. Beautiful city. Port caves to visit.
